Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to thank voters writing, "THANK YOU PENNSYLVANIA—MAGA!"

Joe Biden was also declared a winner just after 20% of the votes had been counted.

Meanwhile, there are several very competitive and possibly significant state and congressional elections in Pennsylvania on Tuesday that will undoubtedly create a stir as the campaign heads closer to November.

Kenyatta was the first openly LGBTQ+ person of color elected to the PA General Assembly in 2018. He was chosen by President Biden and VP Harris to give the keynote address at the Democratic National Convention.

Pinsley has been the Lehigh County Controller since 2020 and has a professional background in finance. He's also a veteran, having served in the Army Reserves.

  • Abortion named as 'top issue'

President Biden campaigned today in Tampa, Florida to speak on abortion rights.

Ahead of his arrival, campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said in a memo that abortion rights are a top issue in "Every Single Key Battleground."

Biden's visit comes after the state Supreme Court ruled that Florida could ban abortion and allowed voters to decide whether to explicitly protect abortion in the state's Constitution.

Trump has has inconsistent policies on abortion, but recently said that the issue should be up to the states.

  • More on Uncommitted PA

Uncommitted PA is a coalition urging Pennsylvania voters to use their ballot as a form of protest to send a message to Biden.

The coalition is calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, an end to the siege of Gaza, humanitarian aid to the region, and an end to US aid for Israel.

Uncommitted PA has a goal of 40,000 write in votes for "uncommitted."

  • Possibility of protest votes

With Biden and Trump seeing virtually no competition, the possibility of protest votes in the primary are more likely.

Activists opposed to military aid for Israel are calling on Democrats to write in "uncommitted" instead of voting for Biden in the primary.

Uncommitted PA is a coalition of progressives in Pennsylvania urging voters to use the ballot to send a message to Biden ahead of November's general election.

  • Controversy for Rep. Kevin Boyle ahead of election

Rep. Kevin Boyle's campaign responded to the arrest warrant withdrawal in a statement.

"Today the Office of the Philadelphia District Attorney and Philadelphia Police Department confirmed that the arrest warrant for Kevin Boyle was withdrawn.

"Furthermore, some have irresponsibly implied or falsely stated that this was a matter involving physical abuse. To be clear, no such abuse has ever taken place or been alleged either in the past or now.

"This entire past week and all the media coverage around it coming in the final days before Election Day has caused tremendous professional damage to my client," Boyle's lawyer Andrew D. Montroy said.

  • Controversy for Rep. Kevin Boyle ahead of election

State Representative Kevin Boyle faces controversy ahead of today's primary election.

An arrest for Boyle was issued last week after he allegedly violated a protection for abuse order by texting his estranged wife, sources told CBS News.

District Attorney Larry Krasner announced on Monday that the warrant had been withdrawn, "This does not mean, one way or another, that Mr. Boyle committed no crime," he clarified.

"That is a matter to be determined later, but based on the information we have today, which is more complete than the apparently accurate information we had before, we do not find that there is probable cause to justify a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Boyle for violating a protection from abuse order on the dates in question."

  • 'Zombie candidates' explained

Today's presidential primary elections both have "zombie candidates" on the ballot.

A zombie candidate is referred to those who are still on the ballot but have ended their campaigns.

Nikki Haley is still on the ballot for Republican nominee, while Dean Phillips is on the ballot for Democrat nominee.

Phillips has earned zero delegates and dropped out of the race on March 6. Marianne Williamson is still in the race, but admitted that her candidacy is focused on bringing progressive ideas to the mainstream instead of beating Biden.

Haley also dropped out on March 6 after earning 97 delegates in comparison to Donald Trump's 1,915.
