The actors of "Saturday Night Live" lampooned the Democratic National Committee in a skit over the weekend that depicted Democratic leaders as old and out-of-touch following widespread election victories last week.

"We're back, baby!" the Democratic leaders declared.

The skit depicted House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, top Senate Democrat Dianne Feinstein, 2016 Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine. The skit mocked the "great new leaders waiting in the wing" of the DNC: "hot young thing" Sen. Elizabeth Warren, former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders.

"Together, we're going to end the spirit of divisiveness in this country by focusing on how we won the governors races in two of the 10 states we care about," the leaders said. "We know that what Americans really care about is jobs: jobs like smuggling immigrants across the border and converting confederate monuments into statues of prominent lesbian poets."

The leaders also boasted about a fresh new vision for America, before panning to Hillary Clinton, who begged for more chances at the White House.

At the end of the skit, the actor portraying former interim DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile walked in and declared that she would "destroy all of this."

Ironically, the political ad was paid for "Mark Cuban for Republican President," a reference to Cuban possibly running for the White House in 2020.

The ad comes after Democrats had a successful day of elections last Tuesday, which included retaining the Virginia governorship.
