Our baffled, bewildered and befuddled so-called president is not only unfit for office, but also he has no idea where he is and where he’s going. Monday, in a tweet promoting his upcoming speech to the American Farm Bureau Federation’s annual convention, he tagged the wrong city.

“Getting ready to address the Farm Convention today in Nashville, Tennessee. Love our farmers, love Tennessee—a great combination! See you in a little while,” Trump said in the since-deleted tweet.

New Orleans is the city where the convention was held this year. It was held in Nashville last year. In what otherwise might be a forgivable mistake by a quick-triggered tweeter is in this instance another example of a leader at sea without a political or moral compass.

Trump, at the helm of the ship of state, is clueless about direction and is taking the entire nation on a ride into a gale.

Last week, we cited figures indicative of Trump’s lack of focus as he dwelled on his presumed army of invading immigrants rather than the increasing number of people imperiled by the government shutdown.

Well, we have a fresh batch of numbers from recent polls that reveal Trump’s declining popularity, with most Americans blaming him for the shutdown.

A Washington Post–ABC News poll taken last week shows 53 percent of Americans say Trump and congressional Republicans are mostly to blame for the shutdown, whereas 29 percent point the finger at Democrats.

And a Rasmussen tracking poll Monday found Trump with a 43 percent approval rating among likely voters, a figure that has steadily declined, it said, since his speech last week on the wall from the Oval Office.

Most Americans polled take exception to Trump’s proposed wall and a call for a national emergency to build it. A poll conducted last week by Hill.TV-HarrisX found that 69 percent oppose the idea.

Although these polls support our contention about Trump’s mismanagement and downright menace to our democratic and constitutional rights, in the end, they are merely a momentary barometer of how people feel about him and his policies.

The polls that will ultimately make a difference are those closer to the 2020 presidential election. We feel that will be the real test, and it’s looking more and more like he can be toppled, and the latest polls show that Joe Biden is the best prepared for this task.

As for the numbers, you go figure. Meanwhile, whatever it takes, we insist that to Make America Great Again—Trump Must Go!
