It's been over a year since the Joe Biden memes peaked on the internet, capturing America's hearts during and after the 2016 presidential election with a humorous take on President Obama and his VP's friendship. Now, twelve months later, the former POTUS just brought the internet trend back to life with a rendition of his own to celebrate the former Vice President's birthday today.

He even used the perfect photo—an outtake of his State of the Union address with Biden shooting his signature finger guns in the background as Obama delivered his speech. A priceless tableau.

"Happy birthday to @JoeBiden, my brother and the best vice president anybody could have," Obama added. (Even his memes have some sentimental value.)

The stunt surprised his followers, but they welcomed the joke nonetheless.

Though they're no longer working together in the White House, Obama and Biden's bromance lives on. (They recently visited Prince Harry together in Toronto for the Invictus Games.)
