LUCK, Texas - Jessica Simpson made a surprising and thrilling return to music on Thursday at the annual Luck Reunion festival, held at Willie Nelson’s iconic Luck, Texas ranch.
After a decade of personal growth and reinvention, Simpson is re-emerging with a fresh sound and new music, marking the long-awaited release of her upcoming EP Nashville Canyon on March 21.
Fans at the festival were treated to a sneak peek of Simpson’s new work, as she performed tracks from Nashville Canyon, including “Use My Heart Against Me,” “Leave,” “Sunday Lover,” and more. The performance also included a special nod to her past, as she delivered a lively rendition of "These Boots Were Made For Walking" — a throwback to her role in Dukes of Hazzard, the 2005 film where she starred alongside Willie Nelson.
